- The gameplay in their games is fast-paced and very easy to get into.
- The company is known to create hardcore video games, such as the Mega Man series.
- They are one of the few companies that had the guts to make crossovers with other companies such as Marvel, SNK, Tatsunoko, etc.
- They helped bring very innovative gameplay, such as the extreme combat system for Devil May Cry being used in other hack-and-slash games.
- They published games like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and God of War in Japan.
- They are now exploring their old franchises such as Mega Man and Devil May Cry.
- Even though they went downhill they recently improved a lot by doing quality games instead of joining trends, with the most recent good game they made was Devil May Cry V.
