Why It Rocks

  1. The game begins with a musical number.
  2. It has 30 games in it for only $30, a rate of just $1 a game!
  3. Most of the games are near intact from their original versions. Only minor changes like updated textures and bug fixes were done.
  4. Control schemes in many of the games such as Jet Force Gemini are improved and adjusted to fit an Xbox One controller.
  5. Older games get save states and some of them get infinite lives cheats.
  6. Playing the games unlocks behind the scenes interviews about them.
  7. Easy achievements, as many of them give you 15/20G upon opening the game. (Games that come with the collection only, not Xbox 360 titles)

Bad Qualities

  1. Some of Rare's more popular games that were not proper IPs of the company like Goldeneye 007 and the Donkey Kong games couldn't be included, obviously due to trademark and copyright issues.
    • The original Killer Instinct isn't included either, although granted, the arcade version was released on Xbox One.
    • As for Conker's Bad Fur Day, the Rare Replay version replaces the company name Nintendo with Microsoft Studios.
  2. Really bad game choices like Perfect Dark Zero and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
  3. Some of the Xbox 360 games can have occasional frame drops.
    • As for the Xbox 360 games, they require to be installed separately as they are standalone titles. And plus they have 2 versions in which one of them is the Rare Replay version, which is mostly a waste of space for 2 of the same game.
